AI for Segmentation and classification of medical images

Segmentation of different features in the image, and classification of them into various categories are fundamental to diagnosis of various diseases. In collaboration with Tohoku University, we are developing new lightweight deep learning models, which are highly accurate and have the ability to run on a low computational resource device (such as mobile phone, edge devices etc.). Our deep learning models can realize AI based disease diagnosis in portable medical devices even in remote areas where internet connectivity is not available.

AI based applications for ocular diseases diagnosis/screening

In collaboration with the Department of ophthalmology, Tohoku University, we are developing various AI based applications for the diagnosis of ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, cataract, diabetic retinopathy etc. All these applications use light weight deep learning models, which allow them to run on a PC, mobile phone, edge devices and clouds. Our aim is to provide eye health care not only at hospitals/clinics but at door-to-door and remote places, where access to health care is limited/difficult.

AI based detection of cattle diseases and precision farming

We have donated to a project "Nationwide expansion of simple tests to protect against bovine infectious lymphoma in cattle". Our AI models can help in the detection of cancerous cells in tissues of cattle. The lightweight models are also important for the precision agriculture and remote monitoring of fields by deploying them in a drone.   .
